Crooke in snow, January 2024.

It has been a while since I have posted here but it has also been a few years since we have seen any snow in Crooke at all! Since I posted this, it has occured to me that I have posted this in the wrong place so I have moved them to Seasonal Snaps. I have left a few but they are now in Seasonal snaps as well.

It is now March 2023.

Over the last couple of months, in the time I have not been able to keep the site updated, I have been around the local area including in Crooke and I have captured lots of things that I would like to share. They are not in any particular order, I just copied them from various folders and pasted them into one folder and resized them so that they would fit the page. Some were taken in Crooke and others were not. It is a wonder of nature that these things are here to be seen. In general, we are too busy to stop and take a look! Some creapy crawlies, birds, flowers, insects work, the sky above and much more? Here is a smattering of what my camera has captured for your pleasure.

It's May 2022 already! Where has the time gone?

Here are few images for your delight. I am taking pictures and every now and then, I will post them on here for a change. Enjoy.

A few flowers to delight.

To help add a little colour into our viewing on these darker days, I know that spring is around the corner but here are some summer shots for your pleasure. I would like to share some snaps of blooms that I have captured around the village over a period of time. There is a mixture of garden flowers and those that may be considered as weeds. Variety is the spice of life. There are a couple of village views as well. I have added one at the end. The4se are the first Snow Drops I have seen this year. It looks like they have been up for a short while so I'm a little late here but, hey ho, an added touch of spring.

The village is changing with some improvememnts, repairs and Alterations:-

A fresh look around in March.

And here are a few more of Derek's pictures and thanks to him for sharing them.

Courtisy of Derek and his camera.

Thanks to Derek, he has allowed me to use some of his pictures to enhance this page. Derek has always been a lover of nature and because his garden is so inviting to them, he welcomes them in so that he can capture them on his camera. His garden is so suited to this kind of activity and it is my pleasure, with his concent, to share some of these pictures with you. Enjoy.
